I love Christmas.
And when I say I love Christmas, I mean I love it with all the pink fluffy hearts I can muster (thanks Loralee for the emotional reference...) in this little frame of mine.
In addition to general Christmas cheer, I love Christmas music. I know T hates me for it, but if I could, I would play Christmas music from Halloween until Christmas. And yes, I love the same old classic songs over and over and over again.
However, I'm having. a. problem.
Today is December 28. Exactly three days after Christmas.
Well, let me back up more. It is VERY common for me to wake up in the morning with a random song stuck in my head. And yes, you'll probably tell me "Well, you must have heard it yesterday" or "It's your favorite song." But it's not like that at all. It could be something completely random like Beyonce or James Taylor or Carrie Underwood or Linkin Park.
It. really. doesn't. matter.
And most days, it's okay. It's kind of like a fly that wakes you up by buzzing around your head and then goes away when it gets bored with that. It goes away pretty fast.
And during Christmas, my little "gift" is awesome. I practically have the radio in my head ALL DAY LONG! It's absolutely amazing! I don't even have to bother T with turning on the radio because it's already in my head!
Now, back to the .problem.
Today is December 28. Exactly three days after Christmas.
And I am still waking up with Christmas songs stuck in my head. Seriously, brain, you've got to stop it. It is time to move on. Grow up. Get moving. Transition to a new holiday.
No more roasting chesnuts and white Christmases and blue Christmases and two front teeth.
Bring back Beyonce.
