Twelve Days of Christmas Past! (Day 5)

We're getting close now people!! Only five days left!!

Okay, so maybe I'm just on a trip fever at the moment because I KNOW the last post was about a trip, and this one is going to be too! I just love traveling!

I'm involved with a service organization called Arnold Air Society. It's for ROTC cadets and once a year, we get to all get together for one big massive conference/party/good time. This year it was held in Chicago, and I'd never been there, so I went.

Now, for most Arnies, it's kind of like a getaway-and-drink-and-have-a-REALLY-good-time kind of weekend, but since I don't drink, it's more of a getaway-and-watch-everyone-else-get-drunk-but-make-sure-I-have-my-camera kind of weekend. I actually end up doing some sightseeing and eat great food, like this:


Apparently this place has the world's best stuffed pizza. And I am a pizza connoisseur, so I tried it. And here it is:

Yes, that would be about two inches of straight cheese and yumminess. I dare say they have the best pizza. And that's my good friend Colby holding it up so I can take a picture. Good job, Colby.

Also, while walking around, we found a Saks Fifth Avenue. The very first one I've ever seen!! Now, I'm high class. I rock. (And yet I still live in a mobile home...not sure how that logic works out)

While all of this was well and good, the highlight of the trip was actually when we took off and ditched a few meetings to go do this:


And. it. was. amazing. This is how excited I was:

I don't know why I always pull that face but I do. And I'm going to see it again in May!!! WoOoOoO!!! (That's how I make that face on the internet :) )

For the Fifth Day of Christmas Past, I went to Chi-town!
