How to Cut Off a Chicken's Head - A Metaphoric Post

Dude. I SWEAR I'm not a slacker. I do love blogging. But these past two weeks have been ridiculous!!

For anyone that has ever been to college, you'll understand when I say that the first two weeks are rough. Not because they are hard or challenging by any means, but it's just new teachers, new syllabi, new schedule.

I have been running around like a chicken with it's everything cut off for these two weeks. Here's an example:

I get up around 5:30. To the gym by 6:00. Home and shower by 7:00. To the bus and to class by 9:30. Work. Class. Study. Class. Study. Class. Work. Work. Meeting. Meeting. Dinner for ten minutes around 7:00. Back to campus to studyby 7:10. Home by 10. To bed by 10:30.

And that's how my days have gone. Hopefully you can see why blogging hasn't been #1 on my list for the last little bit.

On that same token, I would just like to mention that my husband has been an absolute angel throughout this whole adjustment process. He has taken cuts on his work schedule to stay at home to clean the house and make sure that I am eating good, healthy, home-cooked meals, instead of Carl's Jr. or Papa Murphy's every night like last semester.

So there's the update. Once I get a bit more settled and my brain can start wandering again, maybe I'll come up with a novel and utterly clever post with which to tease your brains with.

Until then, I think we're having One Pan Pot Roast with Parmasan Fries tonight. Yummy.
